Lumina Foundation for Education is committed to tracking the outcomes of our projects and programs as well as sharing successes and challenges in a transparent, translatable way.
Lumina Foundation for Education has contracted SPEC Associates to conduct a formative evaluation of it's Productivity work and grants. SPEC has created an international, multi-disciplinary team of experts in higher education research and policy, systems thinking, and inter-organizational collaboratives to evaluate this work. SPEC is offering evaluative reflections on the return on learning that MOA can offer to others interested in improving the productivity of higher education.
Lumina Foundation for Education places a high value on evaluation. Lumina supports efforts that look closely at their work and the work of their grantees to answer: What have we learned? What works? What's next? Lumina also support evaluation that examines their work to help them advance our mission and serve their grantees. Although grantee perceptions are not definitive evidence of a foundation's social impact, they can help assess a foundation's overall performance and progress.
